Hi Gwen, I have just read this post whilst looking for descendants of the Matthews family who arrived in Melbourne on April 28, 1839 on The John Barry We are having our 185th-anniversary reunion in Oct this year at Modewarre/Moriac and wish to track down descendants of Margaret Matthews (nee Fisher, nee Hammond b1833) who's daughter Mary married John William Prowse. I believe your listing here refers to them both. We are also looking for descendants of Jane Matthews nee Budd (1822) another daughter of Wm & Margaret. We have located some descendants of the original sons but need help with the girls. We have a website for the reunion which I could add you to if you have any interest or could help with contacts please. Many thanks in anticipation, Best Wishes, Noelene Matthews
